Agentic AI combines a model with tools, memory, planning and a control loop. Instead of producing a single response, the system can break a goal into steps, take actions and inspect the resulting outcomes.

Agents may search the web, call APIs, write code or coordinate with other agents. Production systems need limits, monitoring and approval mechanisms because autonomous actions can create real-world consequences.
