Neural Networks

Weights and Biases

Trainable parameters that determine how signals move through a neural network.

Weights control the strength of connections between neurons, while biases shift the activation of a neuron independently of its inputs. Together, they determine how the network transforms information.

Training repeatedly adjusts these parameters to reduce the model’s loss. A modern neural network may contain millions or billions of weights, allowing it to represent extremely complex patterns.
